Dear Classmates,

Fifty years ago we were contemplating what our lives would be like after graduation and many of us shared our hopes, dreams and fears with our classmates at Memorial High School. Now, fifty years later we look back at those times and wonder what happened to our friends, if they realized their dreams or perhaps found new ones.

Many of you attended our Gala in 2013. We all had a great evening, but wished we had more time to catch up with old friends. We are planning a 50th year reunion so we can do just that! This gathering will be different, provide more time to meet with friends as well as give us a chance for a fun vacation in a warm place!

Our 50th will be held at Disney World on April 15th through 17th, 2016. The festivities will include a cocktail party on Friday evening, cocktails and/or dinner on Saturday and a cocktail party on Sunday. We chose Disney World for a number of reasons.  There are many hotels at a wide range of prices, lots to do and free transportation so we can meet friends and enjoy the venue.  It also gives those with families and opportunity to combine the trip with a family vacation.

Greg Werner has created the website so we can keep you all up to date on the events and any other information that you may need. 

The reunion committee spent a lot of time tracking down classmates for the Gala. So that you can get in touch with your high school friends, we will be sending out a list of phone numbers and email addresses in the fall. We hope you will use the list to renew old friendships and make plans for April 2016!  We will also be inviting our friends from the Class of 1964 and 1966 to the reunion.

Finally, we are restructuring the scholarship fund which our class set up many years ago and hope to make it perpetual. Low interest rates have made it necessary to dip into the principal to fund two scholarships of $250 each. Some of us have already agreed to support this and we will be sending you more information on the scholarship fund later in case any of you wish to contribute.
